Breaking the Ice...

Welcome to the Tin Shed! My name is Sarah-Jane, and I'm the youngest daughter of Michael (Tex) and Gloria Bryson.
I've always struggled to explain to people the projects, creations and artwork that my Dad, Tex Bryson, has created over the years. Sometimes, I find myself mid-story with a friend, trying to explain the scale model, hand-carved wooden jousting horse complete with sound effects that he created in the shed yesterday, but I never can quite get the story across right. Or maybe I am trying to tell them about the time he received world wide acclaim for creating the largest flying model Herc, which he parachuted my sister's barbie doll out of over the runway at RAAF Base Edinburgh in the 70s. Half the time, it sounds so incredible that I wonder if they really believe what I'm saying is even true!
I've wanted to create a space like this for a long time, somewhere to put together all the stories, photos and projects that Dad has created over the years. Now it's finally here! Welcome to the Tin Shed.
This is just a short note, to break the ice and get things started. At this stage, the only plan is to go back and start jotting down some of the detail from Tex's early projects. Tex is (mostly) a willing participant, and he will be putting in his two-cents to make sure we get all of the intricate details right.
Most articles will be posted by myself or one of my family members, and we will let you know who that is in each article. I hope we do his projects justice, and I hope you enjoy looking at his amazing creations as much as we do!
